Here's the honest version.
I'm the owner and photographer behind George Pompilio Photography, and I'm all about creating an exceptional, personalized experience for every couple I work with. Honestly? My entire business is built around my own pet peeves. When I hire someone, I want to feel like I actually matter, timely replies, clear communication, and knowing that the person I spoke with is the same one showing up to do the job. That's been at the core of how I work for as long as I've been in this industry.
People sometimes ask how I got into photography. I actually started out in the wedding industry as a DJ, but once I picked up a camera, there was no turning back. What hooked me was the ability to create images that weren't just snapshots. They were bold, dramatic, and looked nothing like what the eye typically sees. That's still what drives me today.
My approach is simple: document the real moments as they happen, and craft the artful ones with intention. Some clients have jokingly called me "the Thomas Kinkade of photography." I take it as a compliment. When I'm not shooting weddings, I'm usually entering, and winning, photo competitions: WPE, PROWED, ISPWP, and in 2024, Top 5 in the world at Flash Masters.
