Here's the honest version.
I'm the owner and photographer behind George Pompilio Photography, and I'm all about creating an exceptional, personalized experience for every couple I work with. Honestly? My entire business is built around my own pet peeves. When I hire someone, I want to feel like I actually matter, timely replies, clear communication, and knowing that the person I spoke with is the same one showing up to do the job. That's been at the core of how I work for as long as I've been in this industry.
People sometimes ask how I got into photography. I actually started out in the wedding industry as a DJ, but once I picked up a camera, there was no turning back. What hooked me was the ability to create images that weren't just snapshots. They were bold, dramatic, and looked nothing like what the eye typically sees. That's still what drives me today.
My approach is simple: document the real moments as they happen, and craft the artful ones with intention. Some clients have jokingly called me "the Thomas Kinkade of photography." I take it as a compliment.

I could book more weddings. I choose not to. I keep my calendar small, because that’s how I can still be the person who answers your messages, builds your timeline with you, studies your venue’s light, and photographs your Portrait Experience myself.
One wedding per day, never two. No double-booking and no associate photographers sent in my place. The person you meet on the call is the person behind the camera. And because I’m not stretched across a calendar of back-to-back events, your gallery comes back in about two to three weeks, not months.
That’s what boutique means here: fewer weddings, each one done completely. It also means my calendar fills. 2027 is 90% booked, and 2028 inquiries are open. If you’d like me there, my honest advice is don’t wait.
