A real moment happens once, usually without warning, often in bad light and with someone standing in the way. You either see it forming and are already in position, or you do not and it is gone.

Most of these come from the parts of the day couples worry least about: the getting-ready hours, the gaps between formalities, the edges of the dance floor. Those are the hours some couples try to trim from coverage, and they are where a surprising share of the images you will still love in twenty years get made.
Two things help enormously. The first is an unplugged ceremony — phones in the aisle do not just block the kiss, they hide the faces that make ceremony coverage worth having. The second is buffer in the timeline, because rushed people do not have unguarded moments; they have logistics.
Beyond that, this style asks nothing of you. That is rather the point.
