What you are looking at

This gallery is drawn from full weddings rather than assembled from single standout frames. That distinction matters more than it sounds: almost any photographer can produce ten good images from a year of work. What tells you whether a gallery will hold together is consistency across one whole day — a bright getting-ready room at ten in the morning, a dark church at three, portraits in harsh light, and a reception after the sun has gone.

How these images are made

Two things shape almost every frame here. The first is light: natural light where it is good, and off-camera flash where it is not, shaped so it still reads as natural rather than as flash. Roughly half of a wedding day happens after sunset, so what a photographer does once the sun is down decides half your gallery — that is the subject of off-camera vs on-camera flash.

The second is time. Portraits like these need a protected window rather than whatever minutes survive after the formalities. Ten deliberate minutes near sunset changes what is possible more than any equipment does, which is why the timeline conversation happens well before the day — see how many hours of coverage you need.

What you receive

Around 100 fully edited images per hour of coverage, which works out at roughly 1,000 or more for a typical ten to twelve hour wedding day, delivered in about two to three weeks. Not everything belongs in a portrait gallery

The frames here are the composed ones. The unposed half of a wedding — the glances, the laughter, the quiet seconds nobody arranged — lives in The Simple Moments. Both halves are in every gallery I deliver; they are just separated here so you can judge each on its own terms.
