A September wedding by the ocean, for a couple who feel most at home near the water.
Allison and Luke married on September 12, 2026. The ceremony was at The Church of St. Christopher. The reception followed at Gatsby On The Ocean at Jones Beach in Wantagh.
They are a fun, laid-back couple. They love to fish, and they love Bud Light. The beach and the ocean are where they feel most at home, which is why they chose Gatsby On The Ocean. Their dog, Willie, joined them at the venue for portraits. You can read more about how a day like this comes together on The Approach.
Getting ready
Both mornings were easy. Luke had a tuxedo, a watch, a quiet minute at the window, and a round of beers with his groomsmen. Allison’s room was bright and unhurried: the gown by the window, earrings in soft light, and bridesmaids seeing her for the first time.
A moment with Dad
Then a quiet moment with her father. A long hug, and a few tears he did not try to hide.
The ceremony at St. Christopher
Allison and Luke married at The Church of St. Christopher. They lit the unity candle together, and they left the aisle with a dip and a kiss. Their guests met them on the church steps.
Portraits
Portraits were simple. A few minutes at the church after the ceremony, then the veil in the wind at the venue. The ease between them made the direction light.
By the water
The ocean is where Allison and Luke feel most at home, so the last portraits were made with the water behind them. Wide sky, dune grass, and a long veil in the wind. Their wedding party joined them for a few frames before the reception.
Into the night
Inside, the night stayed true to who they are. A loud entrance, a dip by the sweetheart table, cake, slow dances, and a dance floor that stayed full until the end.
“He made it so smooth and guided us through everything. We were in good hands working with George.”

Their photographs, on their walls
Allison and Luke chose both an album and wall art. The album holds the whole day, start to finish. The wall art keeps a few of these frames where they will see them every day. If you are thinking about how your own photographs will live after the wedding, see Wall Art & Albums.
